Branded projects
A student needs to undertake projects with most of the subjects in every vertical (Marketing, Finance, IS, HR, IB, Retail, agribusiness etc.). Project, analysis, groupwork, brainstorming and presentation becomes the world of every student. Some of the projects are structured like the folllowing:
Marketing & Strategy
X-Press world: Corporate branding to advertisement strategy- this workshop allows students to research, compare, analyze & develop comprehensive advertisement and media planning strategies for select products and services.
Reality world: Students put themselves into practical business environment & get ready to deliver from day one. They study supply chain for consumer goods, manufacturing for industrial products & CRM products for service Industry in this project.
Industry world: FMCG, financial services, digital media or steel; different industries operate on disjoint trade policies and issues. Students identify these trade issues, analyze in domestic and international economic background and create future business strategies for Indian companies.
Financial Services & Management
Invest world: Hostile takeover, IPO, Venture funding, etc are dominating today’s M&A, Merchant Banking and Financial Services market. Students undergo this project to demystify these not so easy corporate finance terminologies. They identify recent incidents of each of these exercises & analyze its pros and cons under expert guidance.
Protect world: Insurance is one of the fastest growing Industries today. Life insurance, general insurance & health insurance are different under different perspectives. Students identify available products & services in India for various players and after comparative study they develop a niche product in each category.
My money world: Personal Finance products like Mutual fund, Insurance policy, personal loans, mortgage or reverse of it, platinum card or petro card - positioning, marketing and sales strategies are different for different target groups. Students select few products available in India, compare the offerings and draw a market development plan for each product category.
Human resource
Unipolar world: Each organization is an assembly of smaller groups called departments who work for their own self-interest. Integrating these groups together to achieve a common corporate goal is no kid's play. Students learn details of organization behaviors through this role-play and working together they try to achieve a common goal.
M'power world: competency Mapping, HRIS , ESOPs etc new innovative HR policies are being used for various reasons. Students identify the latest trends in HR, analyze how same policies are implemented in different organizations. They also gauge the results and develop customized policies for different industries.
Train-in world: As business dynamics is moving from hard resource based model to intellect based, soft resource dominated model, specialty training is gaining more and more importance. Students select few companies operating in India and draw annual training plan and budget in this project.
Information systems
Analytical World: Technology can play a great role in empowerment of companies to serve their customers better. Students identify how different software tools like SAS, SPSS and other IT solutions can improve efficiency of marketing, sales and after sales services a company - through Business Analytics.
Seamless world: Resource planning & allocation, production, supply chain or account receivables; all business entities are seamlessly integrated into one single software platform through ERP systems. Student's select recent ERP implementations in India and analyze how the change management affects different departments of the company.
