Multilayer Placement

Unitedworld has created a unique three-tier structure in a pursuit to create exciting career opportunities. Three different teams of senior executives will put dedicated placement efforts, led by Mr Shim Young-Sup (Ex CEO, LG Life Science & LG Chemical) as Director - Placements and Corporate Affairs. This is one of the most structured and well planned career development effort for any SE Asian B-School. Mr. Shim was responsible for various business of LG in India for last 15 years. He is also the Chairman of Indo-Korean trade forum since 2006. With his global contacts combined with the effort of one of the largest placement team in India, Unitedworld is exploring suitable placement opportunities for its students.

Tier I

First team would explore zonal opportunities:

- East Coast (from Kolkata campus)

- West Coast & Central Zone (from Mumbai campus)

- West and North zone (from Ahmedabad campus)

Tier II

Second team will work on creating national opportunities and integrate national placements in a centralized fashion. They will target top 500 organizations.

Tier III

An overseas placement team will explore opportunities at UK, Middle East, Far East and Australia. Unitedworld team and the network of industry advisors spread globally will be jointly creating employment opportunities for Indian talents.

For this purpose, corporate relations offices will be set up in Singapore, London & Dubai by end of 2009.
